La Paz Global connects donors, partners, and families to human-centered education models that bridge communities, expand access, and prepare students to thrive as compassionate global citizens and leaders.
Founded in 2006, La Paz Global is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting learning communities that value and promote our shared humanity. Our flagship partnership, La Paz Community School in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, is a model for inclusive, bilingual, and experiential education where students from diverse backgrounds learn side by side—60% receive financial aid. Together, local and international families build a microcosm of globalization rooted in connection, curiosity, and compassion.
What we do
We champion access, innovation, and human-centered education by supporting scholarships, programs, and partnerships that cultivate both academic and human skills: Leadership, self-agency, and empathy. Our work extends beyond tuition to include accelerator funds, educator training, community initiatives, and global collaborations that humanize learning worldwide.
Through our partnerships, La Paz Global:
