A Message from our Advancement Director
My belief in education is deeply personal. I am the daughter of educators, raised in a home where learning, curiosity, and service were part of everyday life. From an early age, I saw how education shapes not only individual futures, but entire communities—and that belief continues to guide my work today.
My commitment to education has taken many forms. I have had the honor of serving as President of a local elementary school board in Guanacaste for eight years, where I gained firsthand insight into both the promise and the challenges impacting education in Costa Rica. That experience reinforced what so many educators and families know to be true: meaningful, equitable education requires strong partnerships, creative solutions, and a community willing to invest in the long term.
It is a privilege to be part of La Paz Global and to work alongside families, educators, partners, and supporters who believe, as I do, that education is one of the most powerful tools we have to shape a more hopeful, inclusive future for Costa Rica.
La Paz Global is a 501c3 partner organization (EIN# 42-1649091) that supports the scholarship fund at La Paz Community School. With the support of donors like you, we can continue to positively impact the lives of children, their families, their communities, and ultimately the world. By investing in the future of the next generations, we can reignite our sense of unity and shared humanity, and shift the landscape of education towards a more compassionate world.
Thank you for considering joining our cause. Together, we can make a difference!
With Gratitude,
Lindsay Losasso
