Programs that Bring Human-Centered Education to Life

La Paz Global supports learning communities that cultivate compassion, curiosity, and connection, the human skills students need to thrive in an increasingly complex world. Our programs strengthen access to education, deepen community integration, and share a replicable model of human-centered learning with partners around the world.

We currently steward two core program areas:

La Paz Community School and University Partnerships. Each plays a distinct role in advancing our mission while working toward the same goal: building learning environments rooted in shared humanity.

La Paz Community School

A microcosm of globalization, where local Costa Rican students and international families learn side by side.

La Paz Community School is our founding partner and the anchor of our work in Costa Rica. Through scholarships, curriculum support, and community-rooted initiatives, we ensure students from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds can learn in an environment that celebrates leadership, autonomy, sustainability, and compassionate citizenship.

University Partnerships

Growing the next generation of global educators and strengthening schools worldwide.

Our university programming connects student teachers, volunteers, researchers, and learning institutions with La Paz’s human-centered education model. Through immersive experiences, professional development, and shared learning, we support partners who want to adapt or replicate components of the La Paz approach in their own contexts.

We partner with colleges and universities around the world, including formal partnerships with UCONN, Miami University Ohio and Northwestern.
